Display: Motorola has kept up the RAZR’s display panel on Droid RAZR Maxx. It is a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED advanced capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels at 256 ppi. The multitouch display is protected with Gorilla Glass.
Processor & RAM: A 1.2GHz dual core Cortex-A9 TI OMAP 4430 processor and 1GB of RAM power the Droid RAZR Maxx. It should have been great if Motorola considered slotting in a quad core processor in the Maxx.
Operating System: The Maxx comes with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. However, making the differences with the Droid RAZR, the new Motorola phone is upgradable to the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the most recent and the best ever update to Android.
Storage: For storage, the Maxx has 16GB built-in memory. But it mounts a microSD slot that can support 32GB memory stick and Motorola provides a 16GB external memory stick along with the handset for free.
Camera: The handset sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with 3264 x 2448 pixels, autofocus and LED flash. As major other features, you have touch focus, geo tagging, image stabilization, face detection and 1080p video capture on the Droid RAZR Maxx. The phone also features a 1.3-megapixel front camera for video calls.
Connectivity: Connectivity options of the Droid RAZR Maxx include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot.
